The Soare Reel XR by Shimano is designed specifically for light line fishing. The reel’s performance has been enhanced with Micro Module Gear II and Silent Drive, providing a smoother and more refined reeling experience. This smooth operation allows anglers to focus on detecting subtle bites. Additionally, the adoption of a long stroke spool increases casting distance by approximately 4% on average. The XR also features a newly developed high-response drag system. When using a light line for techniques such as agitation, traditional drag systems can sometimes be difficult to set accurately, as they require more force to initiate drag release, especially when set loosely. The new high-response drag minimises the sudden rise in drag tension, allowing for a more aggressive and precise drag setting than before, improving control and performance during challenging fishing scenarios.
